While doing a little summer cleaning (the homeschool family‘s version of ‗spring cleaning‘) recently I re-discovered a treasure. Five years ago when I was investigating a very unusual and strange thought of taking on personal responsibility for educating my children at home – I had the blessing of meeting with Kathy Bass, wife of George Bass and mother of quadruplets – Chase, Bradley, Kaitlyn, and McKenna. The Basses homeschooled their children from preschool through high school; they graduated from high school in 2005.

Dear NHEA Family,
Often times when I am faced with many homeschool decisions with a plethora of options, I imagine a long banquet table filled with lots of delicious foods placed in beautiful bowls or platters. All the food on the table has been prepared with nutritious ingredients made by loving hands. The finest of china and silver are used and the music of parents’ and children’s laughter is heard throughout the banquet hall.
