This registration is for Christian homeschooling families seeking membership in NHEA.

Membership Plan:
This is for Christian homeschooling families seeking membership in NHEA.
  • Annual family membership with NHEA Newsletter received via e-mail.
  • NHEA membership for fiscal year June 1, 2010 - May 31, 2011.

New and renewing NHEA memberships will be required to register here and pay with Credit Card, PayPal, Personal Check or Money Order.

USD 35.00 for fiscal Year 2011 (valid from now on).

Late membership registration.

Membership registrations and renewals submitted on or after September 1 of current fiscal year are subject to a late fee.  There are however 2 exceptions to this fee:

  1. Taking a child out of private/public school to homeschool.
  2. Just moving into the area.

These exceptions are for new 1st time registrants.  Prior members do not qualify.

If you qualify for one of these exceptions you must contact the NHEA Treasurer prior to registration!

If you do not qualify for these exceptions, you must select this option or your membership will not be approved.

USD 20.00 for fiscal Year 2011 (valid from now on).

Purchase your 2010-2011 NHEA yearbook in advance! (Optional)

You can purchase additional yearbooks at any time by logging in and visiting your User Profile - Membership Tab!

USD 30.00.

Send me a printed NHEA newsletter(HEAdlines) by US postal Service.

Membership with Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA ) is strongly recommended but not required.  The “Welcome” email that you receive upon approval of your NHEA registration will include a group discount code for use in joining HSLDA.

NHEA is a completely volunteer run organization.  Everything that NHEA has to offer: field trips, Co-op, Yearbook, Mom’s Night, Kickoff – no matter how big or how small – has taken place due to the sacrifice of time and talents of volunteers within our group.  Innovative parents have initiated all NHEA has to offer. 

 

All current areas of service within NHEA have been listed below.  Most options have 3 positions listed:  Lead Coordinator [has main responsibility for setting up the details of the event (some of these positions are filled already)]; Assistant Coordinator [assists the Lead Coordinator with planning and executing an event (would like 1-3 assistants per event)]; Helpers [helps with specific tasks as determined by the Lead Coordinator].   

 

Please prayerfully consider where the Lord would have you serve NHEA in the upcoming year.  Every NHEA member (except new members who need a chance to get to know the events) is expected to contribute at least one service requirement each school year.  While we do understand that circumstances sometimes change during the year, please try to pick an option that you will be able to commit to. 

 

Please contact the Academic Events Director if you have any questions about the events, position openings, the duties of a position, or if you need helping finding an area of service due to difficult family circumstances - a simple but vital volunteer position can be found for the heart of a willing servant.
